Microsoft cancels dragon game Scalebound and fans are DEVASTATED
Gamers were looking forward to befriending dragons, but that hasn't stopped the tech giant from destroying their dreams
ANYONE excited about Scalebound, the upcoming dragon brawler from Platinum Games and Microsoft Studios, is about to take a big blow.
Microsoft just confirmed that the game’s future has been entirely snuffed out, with the game totally cancelled.
“After careful deliberation, Microsoft Studios has come to the decision to end production for Scalebound,” came the official statement.
The game has been in development for over four years and although it suffered a few release date delays, a full cancellation is quite an unprecedented move.
Microsoft has even gone as far to wipe all trace of Scalebound from its Xbox YouTube page following the news, with any still linked to by tweets or web pages now listed as private or totally removed.
The dragons are extinct once more.
